What are carbohydrates?
Carbohydrates are the basic source of energy in our body. They act like fuel which runs the body. They are found in massive quantities and form a major portion of our diet. Carbohydrates are mainly seen in our breads, potatoes, rice and nuts. Sugar is also one of the forms of carbohydrates. Sugar is a simpler carbohydrate known as glucose. This varied form of carbohydrates provide energy. Some of the carbohydrates like the bread, rice provide us with slow burning energy as they are complex forms of carbohydrates. While the fast food variety like the processed and high sugar foods provide us with instant energy which runs oput soon making us feel flat. What are proteins?

What are fats?
